Cabin #4 is on the Main Cedar Knoll Property behind the Main House in the Wooded area
It has 2 Bedrooms and a shared living/dining/kitchen space
Similar to Cabins #1, #2 & #3, this Cabin is a little "Rustic" and gives you more of the traditional cabin feeling. You get full use of the Private Waterside about 100 Meters (Yards) down the street
Cabin #4 is angled towards the common-use area down the hill from the Cabins facing South
The Porch has 2 seats along with a small table & a canopy to shade both the seating area and the front window from the Sun
Cabin #4 has become a favourite for some return-campers because it's set-back in the Cedar Knoll property and you only have a neighbour on 1-side (Cabin #3)
High steps off 1 side make Cabin #4 difficult to get in & out for people with mobility restrictions (not wheelchair friendly)
Garbage & recycling bins are provided on the front porch & will be emptied often during your stay
Parking is best behind the Cabin, your boat-trailer is best left beside the common-use area or down at the waterside
Since Cabin #4's fire pit is located in the wooded area of the Camp, we ask that Fires be kept to a minimum and be attended by a responsible person at all times
The Fire Pit & Picnic Bench are down the hill from the Cabin at the common-use area & the Gazebo in the common-use area is meant for Cabin #4 (but you are welcome to share if you like)
Burning of all paper/cardboard products is encouraged to cut-down on recycling however please be careful burning-embers don't fly-away, there are 2 "burn-bins" near the Main House, see Eric for assistance
Please do not burn any offensive materials such as plastics/garbage and do not burn any hazardous materials
A cozy little 2-person seating area on the front porch may be a great spot for morning coffee, lunch, an afternoon chit-chat or to watch over the kids playing in the lower common-use area
The shared living & dining room is in the front of the Cabin, it can seat 4 persons comfortably and allows a place to sit at the end of a busy day of activities or a place for a group to gather & talk or play games during poor weather
A rack is mounted on the wall to hold your fishing rods after the days catch!
A cabin-kitchen provides the basics
Minimal counter space, full-size fridge, cabin-size 4-burner stove & oven and a small pantry cupboard
A coffee maker, 2-slice toaster, all dishes, pots & pans, cutlery & cooking utensils are provided
Water is potable from the well, Please try to conserve your water usage as all 4 Cabins & the Main House are run off the well
The Master Bedroom in the back of the Cabin has a Queen size bed, 1 nightstand, a changing-chair, minimal storage and 2 windows to get good circulation in the room
You must bring your own bedding:
sheets (fitted/flat), pillow cases, blanket/comforter/sleeping bag
2 pillows are provided
The Second bedroom in the back of the Cabin has a Twin/Double bed, 1 nightstand, minimal storage, a changing-chair and 2 windows to get good circulation in the room
You must bring your own bedding:
sheets (fitted/flat), pillow cases, blanket/comforter/sleeping bag
2 pillows are provided
A small bathroom with minimal storage and a stand-up shower, you must bring your own toilet paper & towels
Please be mindful of what goes in the toilet: minimal paper use is appreciated
No paper-towel, wipes, feminine-products or food scraps/waste
Since the Cabin is on the well with a small hot water heater, we ask that you conserve water usage & keep showers to 5-mins if possible
The Cabin comes with 1 desktop oscillating fan, an in-wall electric heater in the main room and & selection of books to read during the relaxing moments or during poor weather
Although hiking up & down the hill for your fire pit & Gazebo use may be tiring, the benefits of a large/full-size fire pit and the shelter of the Gazebo out-weigh the efforts, and the exercise will do you some good!
Your fire pit & Gazebo are on a shared-level with the common-use area downhill from the Cabins
