Camping Sites

Cedar Knoll Camps offers a number of camping sites suitable for Travel-Trailers/Recreation Vehicles & Tents

These sites are on the Main Property to the Left (North) of the house & share the same driveway.
There is limited space for turning around so strategic access is important. Fortunately, the owners will help you whenever they can. Sometimes the other camping guests will help too.
That's what it's all about...helping each other out!
Our guests have full use of the private Waterfront area, which is just about 100 meters/100 yds down the street.

Travel-Trailers & RV's can be up to 10 meters/34 ft. in length depending on size of the site.

A Large Tent and an Eating Tent will fit most sites, additional tents should be no bigger than 5' x 8'.

Tenting campers have priority to the shower house & toilet facilities.

Lots are subject to availability & often get reserved well in advance.
Some campers come for short stays and will use our transient site, while others are on seasonal sites.

Please respect your neighbours and everything will be great!

Please have your Trailer / RV connectors: 30 amp service & potable water available, picnic-bench availability & fire pit is limited.
The owners will do everything they can to oblige, even give you free firewood.
Any deck-building must be approved.

Parking 1 vehicle strategically on your lot so as not to block passage and encroach on your neighbours is fine

Extra vehicles &/or boat trailers may be parked:

  • Past Cabin #4 by the Dry-Shed
  • Along the common-use area entrance path South of the Cabins
  • Down by the Waterside

Fire Pits are provided

Since the Camping Sites are located in the wooded area of the Camp, we ask that Fires be kept to a minimum and be attended by a responsible person at all times

Burning of all paper/cardboard products is encouraged to cut-down on recycling however please be careful burning-embers don't fly-away, there are 2 "burn-bins" near the Main House, see Eric for assistance

Please do not burn any offensive materials such as plastics/garbage and do not burn any hazardous materials

housekeeping & grounds

Please keep your lot "tidy" so as not to create a poor impression/image for the other Campers or prospective new ones

Food should not be left-out as this will attract Wildlife & Bugs to your lot and the camping area

Garbage must be contained preferably in a "critter-proof" bin, again to not attract Wildlife & Bugs

No vehicle-type mechanical repairs can be done on the property without consent from Eric & Nancy first!  Adequate ground-cover and a spill-kit must be used/available

Grounds will be maintained by Eric & Nancy

noise & quiet hours

housekeeping & grounds

Please try to keep any/all noise to a minimum including music/televisions and "chatter" on your lot

Children are welcome play a little more "loudly" in the common-use area or down by the Waterside (with adult supervision)

The general quiet-hours are between 11pm through 9am although Campers that are here to relax may appreciate sleeping-in noise-free

Additionally, some long-term Campers may be commuting to work and therefore may need to get-to-sleep at a decent hour/time

shade, awnings & pop-ups

shade, awnings & pop-ups

shade, awnings & pop-ups

The Camping Sites are set in the wooded area of the property, shade from the surrounding trees is usually good

You're welcome to put-up your Awning, a small tarp over a Tent or even a "pop-up" Gazebo however, do not encroach on your neighbours space or common areas, try not to damage any trees putting up tarps & keep these covers away from fire pits

Tree-sap may fall on-to these covers and may require special cleaners to remove

"imaginary lines"

shade, awnings & pop-ups

shade, awnings & pop-ups

Campers should be aware & respect what's known in the Camping-World as the "imaginary lines/fences"!

This means keep you & your stuff on your lot, don't assume your fellow-Camper will be "Ok with it" and do not cut-through someone else lot

Pretend there's a imaginary line/fence between the lots

common shower & washroom

common shower & washroom

common shower & washroom

The Camping area has a "shower & washroom" building towards the North-end of the area

There is 1 stand-up shower and a toilet behind a privacy-curtain along with a sink & folding/changing area

Laundry services are not provided, see the Regional Info drop-menu for local towns with Laundry facilities

Please be mindful of what goes in the toilet: minimal paper use is appreciated

No paper-towel, wipes, feminine-products or food scraps/waste

Since the Shower-Bldg is on the well with a small hot water heater & shared by other Campers, we ask that you conserve water usage & keep showers to 5-mins if possible

Please keep the shower-building tidy & clean-up after you're done

If toiletries need replenishing, contact Eric or Nancy

Do not leave wet towels/clothing resting on wooden surfaces as the moisture will affect the wood, towel holders are provided while you use the facilities
